nu opens the main conversation in the terminal. It is the same conversation
as your direct messages in a chat app, and Nu replies wherever
the message came from. The client shows the last 20 turns when it starts.
Ctrl+C or Ctrl+D closes the client without stopping the turn. Run nu again to
see where it got to.
Approvals
When a tool call isn’t covered by your policy, its card asks what to do:
Write a rule starts a separate conversation where Nu drafts the policy change
and asks you to approve it. Once the new rule is in place, it decides the
waiting call.
Changes to the policy, new specialists, and browser handoffs only offer Allow
once and Deny. If you send a message while a call is waiting, Nu treats it as a
denial and reads your message instead.
Commands
Packages can add commands of their own, which work in every channel.
Browser handoff
Some pages need a person, for a login, a CAPTCHA, or a verification code. Nu asks for a handoff, and the approval card links to a live view of the page. Click and type there, then approve the card to hand control back. The link useshttp://127.0.0.1:4122. To open it from your phone, set an
address the phone can reach:
Schedules
Ask Nu for a schedule in plain words, such as “every weekday at 8, summarize my inbox”. Schedules use the time zone fromnu set timeZone.
Every 30 minutes a heartbeat turn checks for anything that needs you, like a
reminder that is due or a schedule that failed. nu set heartbeat takes a
different cron expression, or off.
