Uber is a coding agent that a team deploys once and shares. It runs in the cloud with one set of credentials and one set of rules:
  • Governed: one policy decides every model call and tool call, and risky actions wait for approval.
  • Recorded: every step is in the execution history, so any run can be inspected or forked from any step.
  • Isolated: the agent can work in a sandbox that never holds a credential.
  • Durable: sessions survive crashes and restarts, and anyone can pick one up from the terminal client.
Uber is built on Pi. It runs pi’s own session, with pi’s system prompt, tools, compaction, and extensions, so it is configured the way pi is. The source is at github.com/rebuno/uber.
