A channel connects Nu to a chat app. Channels come as packages, and each one lists the settings and secrets it needs:
Nu restarts its services and connects. Direct messages go to the main conversation, the same one you see in the terminal. Each channel or thread in the app is a conversation of its own. Only you can talk to Nu or answer its approvals. Files you attach are saved under ~/.nu/workspace/attachments/ for Nu to read. Nu can send files back on channels that support them.

Messages from Nu

Nu can message you outside a reply, such as when a schedule finishes. It can also post to another conversation by its key, <channel>:<id>. Messages to you are allowed by default, and messages anywhere else ask first.

Writing a channel

A channel is an extension that registers a ChannelAdapter.
